Temperature evolution with cryotherapy

This graph firstly shows the drop in skin temperature from around 30°C (86 °F) to around 15°C (59 °F) when the FREEPAD is applied.

Secondly, the rise in skin temperature after the FREEPAD has been applied for 15 minutes.

Effective conditions using cold recovery

According to scientific studies, cold recovery is based on the principle that the skin temperature, which typically ranges between 30 and 33 degrees (86 °F), needs to be lowered to 15 degrees (59 °F).

This can be accomplished by applying and maintaining a cold source for 15 minutes.
